The fund utilizes a systematic, quantitative trend-following strategy to evaluate a broad universe of fixed income securities, including U.S. Treasury bonds, Treasury notes, Treasury bills, Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities, investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds, municipal bonds, mortgage-backed securities, convertible and preferred securities, private credit, as well as both developed and emerging market sovereign debt. When the model identifies upward price trends in particular segments, the fund shifts allocations to those sectors; in contrast, it allocates to U.S. Treasury Bills during periods when eligible segments are trending downward. This approach aims to capture opportunities across global bond markets while applying risk management to navigate changing market conditions. The Cambria Fixed Income Trend ETF pays dividends quarterly and is designed as a flexible tool for investors seeking both diversification and responsiveness in fixed income allocations.
