It primarily invests at least 80% of its net assets in a diversified portfolio of bonds and other debt securities, including those issued by U.S. and non-U.S. governments, agencies, corporations, and non-governmental entities, as well as mortgage- and asset-backed securities. The fund may allocate up to 20% to below-investment-grade debt instruments, commonly known as high-yield or junk bonds, to enhance yield potential while managing risk. It employs active strategies such as derivatives for hedging, when-issued transactions, and frequent portfolio trading to adjust interest rate and credit exposures, targeting an effective duration within +/- 2 years of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. As a non-diversified fund, it can concentrate holdings in fewer issuers, amplifying both opportunities and risks in fixed-income markets. Launched in December 2025 under Columbia ETF Trust I, this ETF provides investors access to a flexible core-plus bond strategy, blending investment-grade stability with selective high-yield exposure across global debt markets.
