etf_composite_score_current · composite_score, confidence, coverage_pct, expenses_scoreetf_universe · asset_class, aum_usd, fund_type, inception_date, issuer, name, tickerThe Innovator Equity Dual Directional 10 Buffer ETF – October is a structured exchange-traded fund designed to deliver a defined outcome investment strategy based on the performance of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust over a one-year period running from October 1 through September 30 of the following year. This actively managed fund is engineered to seek positive returns in two scenarios: it tracks gains in the S&P 500 ETF up to a predefined cap if the index rises, while also matching the magnitude of losses up to 10% if the index declines within that threshold, effectively allowing for positive returns even in slightly down markets. If the underlying ETF’s losses exceed 10%, the fund aims to cushion investor losses by absorbing the first 10%—the "buffer" feature—so investor losses are reduced by that amount compared to the underlying ETF’s decline. The upside gain is capped at a set percentage, established at the start of each outcome period. The fund employs exchange-listed options (FLEX Options) to implement this strategy and does not provide income from dividends. Its primary role is to help equity investors manage market downside risk while maintaining participation in upside moves—making it notable among defined outcome ETFs seeking risk-mitigated exposure to large-cap U.S. equities.
