It seeks to provide investors with a fixed digital return if shares are purchased on the first day of the Target Outcome Period and held through the full period, provided the reference asset appreciates, remains unchanged, or declines by 10% or less. This buffer protects against the first 10% of losses on the price return of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, while gains are strictly limited to the predefined digital return, with no participation in further upside. The fund employs a portfolio primarily consisting of call and put FLEX options expiring on October 16, 2026, alongside minimal cash holdings, managed by First Trust Advisors L.P. A new digital return is established at the start of each annual Target Outcome Period based on market conditions. This ETF serves investors seeking defined downside protection coupled with a capped return in the U.S. large-cap equity market segment, distinguishing it from traditional index-tracking products.
