About Daniel Meuser's congressional trading

Daniel Meuser

The most recent disclosure from Pennsylvania Republican Daniel Meuser's household adds a name that had never before appeared in the family's trading record: Space Exploration Technologies Corp., disclosed as a $15,001 to $50,000 purchase dated June 15, 2026, and attributed to a dependent child's account. It is a break from a seven-year pattern otherwise dominated by a short list of mega-cap technology and payments names, and it arrived in the same filing as yet another partial sale of NVIDIA Corporation, the security that has appeared in this household's disclosed activity more than any other.

Every one of the 81 disclosed transactions tied to Meuser since 2019 is attributed to either a spousal account (32 transactions) or a dependent child's account (49 transactions), according to the disclosure filings. None carry a personal or joint attribution. That distinction matters: the trading described below reflects activity attributed to family-member accounts, not transactions disclosed under Meuser's own name, and it should be read that way throughout.

Purchases clustered in March 2020; sales have led since

The disclosure record's defining moment came in the last week of March 2020. Across a cluster of trusts and brokerage sub-accounts, mostly attributed to a dependent child, the family recorded purchases of Microsoft Corporation, Visa Inc., the Walt Disney Company and Alphabet Inc., while also recording sales of BP, Kraft Heinz, Chubb, Nucor, Norfolk Southern, Exxon Mobil and Roche Holding. That single window of purchases and sales (26 purchases and 10 sales are recorded across 2020) is the largest annual burst of activity in the disclosure history and reads as a broad rotation rather than incremental trading, concentrated in late March and early April.

Every year since has skewed toward selling. 2023 recorded seven transactions, all sales. 2025 recorded nine transactions, all sales. 2026 has so far produced seven transactions, six of them sales and one a purchase. Combined, the household has disclosed 30 purchases against 51 sales since 2019, and the purchase side of that ledger is confined to the 26 purchases recorded in 2020, three 2024 Treasury bill purchases in the $250,001 to $500,000 range attributed to the spousal account, and June's SpaceX transaction. The 2024 record also includes one Treasury bill sale in the same range and attribution category.

Disclosure timing has also been uneven. The March 2020 transactions were not reported until August 11, 2021, more than a year after they occurred. A pair of NVIDIA sales dated August and October 2024 were not disclosed until August 13, 2025. Both gaps are visible directly in the filing dates themselves.

NVIDIA dominates the frequency count

NVIDIA Corporation accounts for 20 of the 81 disclosed transactions, more than any other security, and every one of them is a sale. The packet describes the company as a data-center-scale AI infrastructure provider spanning compute, networking and graphics products for gaming, professional visualization, data center and automotive markets. NVIDIA sales were disclosed in tranches every year from January 2022 onward, with the most recent leg a run of six partial sales between January and May 2026, each in the $1,001 to $15,000 range and each attributed to the spousal account. A larger $250,001 to $500,000 partial sale of NVIDIA is also recorded on February 11, 2025, alongside a $500,001 to $1,000,000 partial sale dated October 1, 2024.

That February 11, 2025 date is notable on its own. On that single day, the spousal account disclosed sales across nine separate securities: NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Visa, Amgen, Apple, Alphabet, Mondelez International and Aptiv, all reported together in the same filing filed August 20, 2025. The packet describes Qualcomm as a developer of wireless connectivity and computing chips alongside a patent-licensing business; its sale was disclosed in the $15,001 to $50,000 range. Alphabet's sale was disclosed in the $50,001 to $100,000 range, while NVIDIA's $250,001 to $500,000 partial sale was the largest line item in that batch.

After NVIDIA, the next most frequently disclosed names are Microsoft (nine transactions, split between seven purchases and two sales, with the packet describing it as a diversified technology company spanning cloud infrastructure, productivity software and personal computing) and Visa Inc. (eight transactions, mostly the 2020 purchases across sub-accounts, described as the operator of the VisaNet global payments network). Walt Disney Company appears five times, all purchases dated March 26 or March 30, 2020, tied to its film, streaming and theme-park operations. Beyond those four names, activity thins quickly: BP PLC ADR and Roche Holding Ltd ADR each appear three times, Kraft Heinz and Qualcomm twice, and a long tail of single disclosures includes Apple, AbbVie, ADP, Amgen, Aptiv, Berkshire Hathaway, Chubb, Alphabet, Genuine Parts, HACK, JPMorgan Chase, Mondelez, Norfolk Southern, Nucor, Procter & Gamble, Roche Holding AG and Exxon Mobil.

By sector, Information Technology accounts for 32 of the 81 disclosed transactions, more than any other category, followed by 18 transactions where the packet does not identify a sector, 10 in Financials, six in Communication Services, four each in Consumer Staples and Energy, two each in Consumer Discretionary, Health Care and Industrials, and one in Materials. The technology concentration is driven almost entirely by NVIDIA and Microsoft; beyond those two names and Visa, the packet's ticker-based frequency table lists no other security more than five times over the seven-year span.

Meuser does not appear among the 76 members with a published Quantellect trading score as of August 21, 2026. The packet records no score row for him at that latest published score date.
